With the hubby home from a year long deployment to Afghanistan, and the kids being a much more manageable 17 months and 3 years old, we decided it was time for our first ever family vacay. We booked a week at the Great Wolfe Lodge, complete with the Cabin Suite for the kids and the poolside family cabana {for me and the hubs}.
Though it started a little rough- think dead beta fish, leaky kitchen sink, and major flat tire on the interstate-we recovered quickly and set out to have an amazing week.
Here’s a few highlights.

Activities included lots of water park play, a spa trip for the princess, story time every night, and lots and lots of snuggles and family time.
First family vacay = Success <3
